Although there is an overall improvement, the gap between the high-income western countries and pacific island nations, south Asian, and sub-Saharan Africa has increased in 2022. The coverage was 5-10% in sub-Saharan Africa countries like Burkina Faso, Angola, Niger, Liberia, and Benin. The highest treatment coverage 86% for women and 77% for men in Belgium.
