Shilpita Karmakar has been discussing the FDA-approved stem cell therapies that have been heavily used for therapeutic approaches towards better survival and health span. In the current approach, she is ready to dive into a broader aspect of advancements in technology that have resulted in better treatment strategies under the name of “Bench to Bedside”. This column will expand the bandwidth of knowledge and information about the advancements in technologies, their use for therapeutic interventions, FDA approval, clinical trials, marketing, and application. This will also open up venues for the introduction of new methods used to discover modern FDA-approved drugs, better devices for clinical diagnosis and research practices, and research technologies that have revolutionized health care, like CRISPR and Organoids. “Bench to Bedside” column will serve as a strategic platform to bring together the diverse scientific research, clinical approach, technological innovations, AI-driven approaches, and public health under a unified umbrella, aiming to bridge the gap between laboratory research and real-world healthcare.
